Many fans are hoping that one day, Microsoft will add a keyboard and mouse support to their Xbox consoles. Xbox boss Phil Spencer is also hoping for the same thing.
The latest Xbox One console now supports USB keyboards, however, fans are really clamoring for a full keyboard and mouse support. Since some games are better played with the use of a mouse, some Xbox owners have expressed their sentiments of having such support down the road.
For Spencer, the idea is not impossible and could probably be one of Microsoft's greatest goals. In a Twitter post, Spencer shared that PC peripherals won't be available at launch, but it is something being explored by his team.
As some reports noted, having a keyboard and mouse support for the Xbox One might actually cause an imbalance in the gaming console industry. The new technology could either make a big loss for PC games, or contriubute to additional success and sales for Xbox games.
As cited by VG247, this could be the same reason why Spencer claims that they want to give the fans what they want, but just can't promise anything just yet. Fans can only wait for further updates from the tech giant.
