Microsoft recently announced their Xbox February Games with Gold free games. The company shared that two Xbox One and two Xbox 360 games can now be played through backward compatibility.

"Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime," "Project Cars: Digital Edition," "Monkey Island 2: Special Edition" and "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" are the games offered for free in the February Games with Gold. However, these games will be available on different dates.

For Xbox One users, February's Games with Gold offers the co-op space shooter game, "Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime." From the original price $15.00 USD, Microsoft will give it for free starting Feb. 1 to 28, 2017.

Another Xbox One game available to February's Games with Gold is the racing game, "Project Cars: Digital Edition." It has an original price of $30.00 USD and it is available for free download starting Feb. 16 to Mar. 15, 2017.

For Xbox 360 users, February's Games with Gold offers a pair of Lucas Arts classics. First is the iconic pirate adventure game, "Monkey Island 2: Special Edition." The game will be available in the first half of February.

The second is "Star Wars: The Forced Unleashed," slated to be made available for free download starting Feb. 16 ,2017. These two Xbox 360 games will also be compatible with the Xbox One, Polygon noted.

Fans will have to wait for a few days before they can get their hands on the free games. For now, January Games with Gold are still available for free download, at the Xbox site.
