The psychological horror game, "The Town of Light," released last year for Microsoft Windows. Now, this game has been confirmed to get a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One console version.
No official release date has been announced for "The Town of Light" PS4 and Xbox One as of writing. However, it is expected to be launched in the second quarter of 2017.
Studio LKA, an Italian developer, announced the news about "The Town of Light" PS4 and Xbox One's release through the PlayStation Blog site. Aside from the console release, an improved version of the game for PC users is also expected to come out.
According to Game Spot, an enhanced edition of the original "The Town of Light" game will offer new features. New puzzles, an additional story, a reworked voiceover dialogue, more interactive elements and a huge graphical and UI overhaul that aims to deliver a more polished and immersive experience are expected to be part of the huge PC update.
"The Town of Light" gameplay is set in a mental health institution that was closed in 1978 because its practices were reportedly too cruel. This game is delving into actual history, and the mental health institution where the game was set really existed and was shut down on the said year.
As reported by Video Games Republic, "The Town of Light" gets a strict restriction for minors. The game contains several delicate themes and several other elements, such as horror scenes, that are very not suitable for kids.
"The Town of Light" PC version is now available at $19.00 USD.
