Sony has just unveiled the 2017 PS4 exclusives list. Just by looking at the video games featured to be released exclusively for the Sony PlayStation 4, it certainly looks like 2017 will be a great year for video game players.

Horizon Zero Dawn

The new action RPG "Horizon Zero Dawn" is the newest title from Guerilla Games. The video game developer is known for only making "Killzone" video games for the past 10 years. "Horizon Zero Dawn" takes players 1,000 years in the future in a world where robotic dinosaurs rule.

In the game, players will play as an archer who hunts robotic dinosaurs in order to take their parts. The PS4 Exclusive "Horizon Zero Dawn" release date is set on Feb. 28.

Detroit: Become Human

The new neo-noir thriller PS4 exclusive game, "Detroit: Become Human," is directed by David Cage who is known for making video games that are described as playable movies. "Detroit: Become Human" is set in a future where highly advanced androids are able to discover their sentience.

Nioh

The action RPG "Nioh" was released for the Sony PlayStation 4 on Feb. 7, 2017. The game has received favorable reviews primarily because of its combat system and visual appeal. Just a few weeks after the PS4 exclusive "Nioh" was released, the game has already sold one million copies worldwide.

Persona 5

The latest Atlus RPG was developed for the PS3 and PS4. The game was first released in Japan on Sept. 15, 2015. The PS4 Exclusive "Persona 5" release date is scheduled on April 4, 2017.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

The exact release date of "Final Fantasy VII Remake" for the PS4 has not yet been revealed. Video game publisher and developer has scheduled the PS4 exclusive to be released this year. "Final Fantasy VII Remake" will bank on its original fan base while trying to lure younger fans to play the game.
