Xbox Games with Gold will welcome March with two new additional games. Two more games will be launched mid-March, giving Xbox Live Gold members a total of four games for March.

Microsoft Xbox offers its Games with Gold services exclusively to members of Xbox Live Gold. The services allow members to download for free games that are released for the given month.

For the month of February, Microsoft's video game label released four February Xbox Games with Gold. "Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime," which normally retails at $14.99, is available for free download for members from Feb. 1 to Feb. 28.

The $29.99 "Project Cars Digital Edition" was made available for free download on Feb. 16 and will extend up until March 15. The Xbox 360 game "Monkey Islands: Special Edition," which retails at $9.99, was available for free download during the first half of February.

"Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" was made available to Xbox Live Gold members for free download for the second half of February. "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" normally retails at $19.99.

The March Xbox Games with Gold will be kickstarted by Xbox One game "Layers of Fear" and Xbox 360 game " Borderlands 2." Xbox 360 games that are part of the March Xbox Games with Gold list can be played on the Xbox One via backward compatibility.

"Layers of Fear," which retails at $19.99, will be available from March 1 up until the end of the month. The $19.99 "Borderlands 2" will be available from March 1 to March 15.

"Evolve Ultimate Edition," which retails at 49.99 will be a part of the Xbox Games with Gold March list from March 16. "Evolve Ultimate Edition" will be available for free download to Xbox Live Gold members up until April 15.

"Heavy Weapon" will be available in the March Xbox Games with Gold list from March 16 to March 31. "Heavy Weapon" normally retails at $9.99.
