Xbox Insider members on the Xbox One and Windows 10 will be getting a wide range of features. Microsoft announced that they will be releasing the content in the coming weeks.
According to GameSpot, Arena and a slew of neat additions will be hitting select console and PC users. Arena, allows Xbox Live players to take part in tournaments including "World of Tanks."
Live profiles will now show a user's tournament history, including upcoming tournaments. Microsoft has added a button that allows players to join a person's live broadcast.
Aside from Arena, custom gamerpics are finally making a comeback. Owners are now allowed to set custom images from the Xbox One, PC and Windows mobile devices.
Other features include expanded Clubs and LFG. It shows detailed information about players that are trying to join your LFG party. This includes, search for LFG posts related to an achievement and pin post on the top of the Club feed. It includes the ability to hide specific posts, pin posts. Live users will also be able to filter friends, games, and clubs.
The new filter tools will also be on the My Games and Apps section. This will allow users to look exclusively at Xbox One or Xbox 360 games in their own library.
Microsoft will also add captive portal support for Wi-Fi. Windows 10 PC owners will also have the ability to select audio input and output devices for Party Chat.
The new features for select Xbox Insider members are detailed in Xbox Wire. Microsoft has revealed that features will arrive in the next few weeks, but the company has not released a specific date.
The Creators Update for Windows 10 owners will apparently be arriving on April 11. The new update will remove the Snap mode and will introduce users to a new guide and Home screen. Stay tuned for more updates.
