The "Overwatch" Chinese New Year event was announced by Blizzard via a Twitter video. Blizzard has yet to announce what exactly the new features included in this event, however, many speculations suggesting more features will be coming such as limited edition skins and new "Capture the Flag" mode.

Early this week, a leaked video trailer of the "Overwatch" upcoming event appeared online. In Weibo, a Chinese social media site, the video first appeared before it was spread throughout the internet. This video leaked a lot of details regarding the Chinese New Year Event.

The video shows bunches of new skins, and according to Polygon report, the trailer, which is an advertisement for the Chinese market, is grainy, but it gives fans a quick look at costumes or skin for a variety of heroes. They also added that this Chinese New Year event will be similar to past events, like those themed around Halloween and Christmas.
