"Overwatch" Chinese New Year Event gives all the fans of the game a lot to look forward to. The next event, which is dubbed as "The Year of the Rooster" event will be starting in a few days, but the thing is - not a lot of information is available regarding the event. As of the moment, the only details provided by the team of developers is that Mei, D.Va, Winston, Roadhog, Reinhardt and Zenyatta will have new skins to be released to celebrate the Chinese New Year event.

However, "Overwatch" Chinese New Year Event Release Date and start time has not been announced yet but it is certain that a lot of emotes, sprays and voice lines will be available for the upcoming "Year of the Rooster" event, to top the skins which were leaked to us just recently. In fact, more skins may be available for the awesome game.

As opposed to what is expected by a lot of players worldwide, the "Overwatch" Chinese New Year event will not start at 12 MN EST on January 28th. The said event will be starting tomorrow, January 24th and will be released at around 2 to 4 PM Eastern Standard Time, according to reports by Metabomb here. While there is no confirmation from them, they have been correct in guessing the event start times for both Winter Wonderland and Junkenstein's Terror events.

Blizzard, however, has their own timeline and is not known for consistency so make sure to be there an hour or two earlier. Log in, refresh the page like an excited "Overwatch" player must do. While it is still unsure until when the special event would last, a lot of gaming experts expect it to run for two weeks. However, there are also those who expect it to run only up to the Chinese New Year on January 28th. Jeff Kaplan and the entire team of developers of "Overwatch" are still mum on their events, so players just have to wait.
