In "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard," reviewers revealed that there are big features and bonuses players can unlock after finishing and beating the game. These features include the Madhouse difficulty, a new Albert-01R handgun and the Secrets of Defense handbook.

The Madhouse difficulty is a slightly harder mode. In this mode, players will have no health regeneration and will receive more damages from stronger enemies when engaged in contact.

Aside from being stronger and faster, enemies will also appear in greater numbers than usual. As cited by a Polygon report, in this "Resident Evil 7; Biohazard" Madhouse difficulty mode, the game will auto-save lesser than the usual setting and players will need to collect more cassette tapes to save the game.

Meanwhile, the Albert-01R handgun, another bonus weapon in "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard," will appear in players' item box after completing the game. The weapon has limited ammunition, but it is more powerful than the usual weapon and can kill enemies with just one shot.

Another feature is the Secret of Defense handbook. Unlike the Madhouse mode and Albert-01R handgun, this feature can only unlock by completing the "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" on normal difficulty mode. This handbook, as cited by Games Radar, will reduce the damage received from enemies, but players need to have it in their inventory for it to work.

"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" was released on Jan. 24, 2017. It was released for Xbox One, PC and PS4.
