Capcom has changed a scene from the Japanese release of "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" in order to tone down the gore in the game. A new video from Censored Gaming (video below) has clearly explained the difference with blood and gore and without them. The video begins by comparing a scene where Deputy David Anderson meets his unfortunate end. For those who are unaware of the game, "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is not about blood and gore but they do are a part of the game.

According to Kotaku, the Japanese release of "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" won't feature the insane bloody horror with chopped off limbs and smashed skulls. However, a true "Resident Evil" fans cannot do away with these. In the game, Anderson's skull is smashed by a shovel. He is soon infected by the body-melting mould, his head is severed from the body and put in a fridge. In one of the most sickening moments, a key is pulled out of Anderson's stomach. This spine-chilling end of Anderson is ditched in the Japanese release, though.

Anderson's head in "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" survives the shovel and is not severed. The key is also shown lying near the corpse, making the scenario less brutal. According to Game Spot, Censored Gaming also showed in 2015 how the blood and gore in "Until Dawn" were cut for the Japanese release. "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Three million copies of the game have been shipped until now.
