This June, the E3 2016 or known as Electronic Entertainment Expo convention will be held from June 14-16 at the Los Angeles Convention Center and before the day comes here's what to expect from Microsoft.
The company's PR announced that," We're excited to return to E3 this year where we'll showcase more games and experiences coming later in 2016 and beyond, starting with our briefing at 9:30 AM PDT on Monday, June 13," according to an email sent to GameSpot.
Although the company has been discreet about the information to be revealed at the event, Xbox One's new features and updates are set to be introduced as part of its anniversary celebration.
Meanwhile, rumors indicated that Microsoft will be launching a slimmer version of Xbox One. It has been speculated that the upcoming new console will be 40 percent smaller than its predecessor and will have a 4K video playback support.
The new device may not be surprising to some but the company wanted to put the main focus on what's inside it, according to The Verge.
Furthermore, there are rumors that the company also planned to release two streaming devices on E3 2016. Its physical hardware will be similar to a set-top-box developed specially for entertainment purposes called "Xbox TV." If proven true, casual games and Win 10 apps can be linked and played using it.
On the other hand, planned to launch a PC-like console currently called as Scorpio, which will have Oculus Rift headsets support. As the company dives into augmented-reality gaming, HoloLens headsets will possibly make an appearance to boast its functionality.
Fans may also hear news about games such as "Halo Wars 2," "ReCore," "Sea of Thieves" and "Scalebound," reported by The Independent.
Also, more exclusive games will also be showcased such as "Gears of War 4," "Forza Motorsport 7,"" State of Decay 2" and "Crackdown 3."
