The director of "Final Fantasy XV," Hajime Tabata recently discussed updates and additional details about the upcoming game through Active Time Report's video.
The video game published and developed by Square Enix has set its release date in 2016 and will be available globally for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles. As Tabata explained, it will feature a new skill system that unlocks new abilities for players in every level advancement.
Furthermore, the newly released "Final Fantasy XV" gameplay trailer featured new game changes and combat skills addition. Also, there will be seven standard weapon groups along with various choices of sets from each of them, reported by Yibada.
Meanwhile as reported, the game's setting will not be in an open world environment and players can't just go to any place whenever they want. Instead, players will only be able to explore and discover more locations as they progress in the game.
The game director also pointed out that it will be more of an RPG style rather than being an action game that it may seem appear in the trailer. This means that players will have the privilege to modify and adjust their preferred difficulty level in the game system, according to The Christian Times.
In addition, players were reminded to be cautious every time they drive a car or if they're in-flight on the game because once they crashed, it's over. Fortunately, an option to save the game anytime has already been made available for their convenience.
Based on the latest game trailer, players will also be able to ride chocobo as one of the 200 quests that were added. It was also reported that the advance graphical visuals was made possible by Luminous Studio.
Although there were no in-depth have been talked about, Tabata said that more information will be released at the upcoming E3 2016 this June. Also, "Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV" second episode will also be featured at the event, reported by Siliconera.
The "Final Fantasy XV" official release date will be on Sept. 30 for PS4 and Xbox One.
