Bethesda has garnered attention from the gaming community because of a rumored upcoming "Prey 2" announcement, along with an unidentified game remaster on E3 2016.

Several rumors have circulated the the Internet and claimed that "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" is being developed for a remaster. The speculation started when an industry source named Shinobi602 hinted during MrMattyPlays podcast session and said, "I would expect a remaster of sorts for something," reported by GameSpot.

Although there were no specific information was given as to what game will receive an upgrade, fans were anticipating for a possible re-release of "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" for Xbox One, PC and PS4. Furthermore, the speculation was also linked to Bethesda's banner for this year's E3 event, which allegedly showed characters from the "The Elder Scrolls" series, according to Game Bolt.

Fans were rooting for the game since the company recently launched support for "Fallout 4" console mods. Thus, they are speculating that "Skyrim" will most likely to receive the enhancements.

The people in the gaming circle were comparing Shinobi602 previous hint with regards to a "Prey" reboot years ago. He said that Arkane Studios was working "on a spiritual successor of sorts to System Shock 2," as reported by Game Rant.

As of the moment, Bethesda hasn't released any official statement to address the rumors. However, the company already confirmed in October 2014 that "Prey 2" development has been cancelled. They announced that, "It was a game we believed in, but we never felt that it got to where it needed to be."

Whether these speculations were true or not, fans have to stay tune to Bethesda's briefing during the E3 2016 event which will start on June 12 at 7 p.m. PST.
