Updates and rumors have once again circulated the Internet with regards to Rockstar's "Red Dead Redemption 2" possible release date.
It has been reported that the company will allegedly announce its official release date during the E3 2016 event this June. The gaming community is already hyped about the game however, they speculate that it will not be available until 2017, according to GameNGuide.
The owner of Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive's CEO, Strauss Zelnick teased on a possible "Red Dead Redemption 2" introduction in an interview with MCV and said that the company will be attending the Electronic Entertainment Expo in a "big way."
Meanwhile, some fans speculated that the game's update will be either a sequel or a prequel. Furthermore, more rumors have been circulating that the upcoming installment will be titled "Red Dead Renegade," which will feature the same lead character named John Marston, according to The Bitbag.
It was reported that the next game's map has been leaked, which showed that its environment will be set to few years before the "Red Dead Redemption" events happened. Thus, fans were expecting to play the role of a younger version of John Marston if possible.
Previously, a Reddit user also leaked a picture taken from Rockstar Game former employee's portfolio. The image was believed that it wasn't included in the original installment. However, some fans speculated that the photo was for a remaster version of the game.
On the other hand, Zelnick addressed and shut down Virtual Reality support rumors for the game during the Media and Telecom Conference. The reason claimed that the new technology is currently too expensive for the company.
Take-Two doesn't have plans to rule out VR support for their games in the future rather, the company is just being "cautious" until the prices will be reduced.
As of the moment, fans have to wait until the E3 2016 on June 14- 16 at Los Angeles Convention Center to receive any update about the rumored western action video game, "Red Dead Redemption 2."
