Video game publisher, Bethesda, is currently working on three video game projects. This has been revealed by Todd Howard during a recent interview.
Todd Howard, Executive Producer of Bethesda Games has revealed in a recent interview with glixel that the video game company is currently working on three not yet unveiled games. According to Howard, one of these games is a mobile game.
It has been a busy start of the year for Bethesda. The video game publisher, aside from the three not yet unveiled video game projects, is set to release "The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim" for the Nintendo Switch.
"The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim" Nintendo Switch project will be the first collaboration of Bethesda and Nintendo in a long time. Aside from the partnership with Nintendo, Bethesda is also working on releasing a "Fallout 4" virtual reality version.
In the recent interview, Howard revealed that aside from the already announced video game projects, the video game company is also working on three more new games. Two of these being developed games, according to the Bethesda Executive Producer, will be "classically Bethesda."
Howard also described the video game projects as bigger than anything that the video company has ever done. "They're a bit different," Howard revealed, "but definitely in the wheelhouse that people are used from us."
The statement of Howard may be taken to mean that Bethesda is working on two new open-world RPGs. This is because Bethesda is known for developing and publishing hit open-world RPGs and the game genre is right in their wheelhouse.
Howard is also tightlipped about the new mobile game that the video game publisher is currently working on. He, however, revealed that the mobile game is somewhat unique as it is what made "Fallout Shelter" successful.
Video game fans may just have to wait until the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) to learn more about the three new Bethesda games. The video game publisher is yet to announce its E3 schedule.
