The developer of "Saints Row," Volition, has been reportedly working on a new game titled "Agents of Mayhem" developed for Xbox One, PC, and PS4.
Along with their announcement, a game trailer was also published courtesy of IGN that showcased an open-world action event in a modern urban environment along with a playful vibe. The video also introduced three new agents that uses extra-ordinary skills to fight against their enemies, according to IGN.
Meanwhile, the first three agents that starred in the trailer were named as Fortune, Hollywood and Hardtack.
They are a part of an organization called M.A.Y.H.E.M, which means the Multinational Agency for Hunting Evil Masterminds, with a mission to defeat the L.E.G.I.O.N., which stands for the League of Gentlemen Intent on Obliterating Nations.
Furthermore, the game's location sets in a futuristic version of Seoul, South Korea. It was reported that there will be 12 "Agents of Mayhem" characters that can be chosen in the game. Players can use them to battle against the organization of L.E.G.I.O.N along with their individual super powers and abilities, reported by Engadget.
Fans who have seen the game trailer shared their insights and said that it offers the popular Volition's humor and playful vibe similar to its previous installments. Some shared that it also has the same "Saints Row" amusement.
On the other hand, the colorful single-player game will be packed with new set of weapons, gadgets and skills to use. Although the information about the game is limited, it was reported that within June, the developers will share their analysis about the debut trailer.
Moreover, Deep Silver Volition will release the first glimpse of the gameplay and behind-the-scenes developing process as the month goes by.
It was revealed that the "Agents of Mayhem" release date is expected to be in 2017, and the company will give more details about the game on this year's Electronic Entertainment
