The recently surfaced updates for "Red Dead Redemption2" include a new game trailer, pre-order details and Rockstar Games' plan to slow down updates for "GTA Online."
While avid gamers continue to go berserk over the recently announced start date for pre-orders for "RDR2," the rumor mill is up and running at full force regarding a new game trailer for "Red Dead Redemption 2." If rumors running rampant online are anything to go by, an official "Red Dead Redemption 2" trailer could be unveiled during the Super Bowl event that kicks off Feb. 5, according to Express.
Aside from that, there's word that Rockstar Games' could begin to take pre-order for the game on the same day as the trailer unravels. The speculation stems from a Reddit post that shows "RDR2" pre-order cards scheduled to arrive at Target retail stores on Feb. 5.
A Reddit user droptheverse recently posted an image of "RDR2" pre-order card that allegedly arrived at the Redditor's store -- a Target store in the U.S. -- to be precise. It can be recalled that Rockstar Games teased the fall of 2017 launch date for "Red Dead Redemption 2" last year in the form of the first official trailer.
Aside from announcing the exact release date for "RDR2," it will be hardly surprising if Rockstar Games' unveils something new at the Super Bowl in a bid to promote the game. British retail website Littlewoods features a placeholder for the highly anticipated sequel title, indicating that the game will arrive on Oct. 2 for PS4 and probably for the Xbox One console as well.
While an October launch seems sooner than expected, the title is still likely to launch ahead of the likes of "Battlefront 2" and "Call of Duty" if Rockstar Games sticks it last year's release pattern.
While more concrete details regarding "Red Dead Redemption 2" are likely to surface online in near future, "GTA 5 Online" continues to be the money spinner for the studio. However, renowned tipster Yan 2295 has predicted a slowdown of updates for the online mode of "GTA 5" in near future.
