Apple iPads will be released next week. Recent reports claim that four new iPad models, which includes the iPad Pro 2 and iPad Mini 5, could be possibly introduced to the public in the upcoming Apple March event.
According to MacRumors, Apple could announce its new iPad lineup as early as next week. Analysts note that the devices will land between March 20 and 24 this year. In addition, there were reports suggesting that Apple will host an event next week. At present, no invitations have been sent out. Many speculations, however, are anticipating that the event will surely take place and Apple will launch numerous products including the iPad Pro 2 and iPad Mini 5.
These claims were further triggered by a report from Tech Crunch noting that there were several iPad models that were being tested in and out of Apple. In addition, the report cited the mobile marketing firm Fiksu that recently claimed to have tracked four different versions of iPad, which were already installed with iOS 10.3 beta and some with the next-gen iOS 11.
Aside from the 7.9-inch iPad Pro, which is believed to be the successor to the iPad Mini 4, the Cupertino-based tech giant is expected to launch three more iPads. Another report from KGI points out that the company is gearing a radically new form for these 2017 iPads. The 7.9 inch iPad pro and two are the current iPad Pro models with 12.9-inch and 9.7-inch displays and the other is said to be a 10.5-inch display.
KGI Securities Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that Apple was readying a radical new form-factor to iPads for 2017. In addition, he underlined that there could be three new iPad Pro models this year. Two of them will be the next iterations of the current iPad Pro models releasing with 12.9-inch and 9.7-inch displays. The other one is said to be released with a 10.5-inch display. If basing on the other claims, the fourth model could possibly be a 7.9-inch iPad Pro, which will be the successor to the iPad Mini 4.
