The owner of 2K and Rockstar Games Take-Two, seemingly have a long relationship with Nintendo Switch. It is somewhat proven because of an essential member of the company showing his excitement by the new highly-anticipated console in reasserting that they will certainly support it.

As part of its most recent financial report, Strauss Zelnick, Take-Two's CEO, stated that

they are excited about the Nintendo Switch. However, the only thing that they have announced so far is the NBA 2K18. He reaffirmed again and again that they are supporting the platform and they won't be missing out Nintendo Switch as soon as it comes to the market.

As of the moment, the amount of support that Take-Two will be giving to Nintendo Switch is still unknown. It looks like many things will apparently depend on the success of the console at its launch. However, everything appears to be on point with their solid relationship and reaffirmation such as this.

The founder of Gearbox Software, Randy Pitchford said recently that although he believes that Nintendo's priority should not be taking titles like "Borderlands" to their console, a version of the said title might possibly arrive on Switch. Pitchford added that if the upcoming console garners a huge number of customers, and as long as it doesn't compromise the experience game developers are making, then their company or Take-Two and 2K may possibly decide to take an effort to make these games playable for Nintendo Switch.

More so, in this said financial reported he noted that Take-Two have purportedly distributed 75 million copies of "Grand Theft Auto 5". With this, the open world title has continuously exceeding their expectations. Regardless, it is still remains uncertain whether if it will come to Nintendo Switch or not.

It is not surprising at all to hear that the company feels much excitement about Rockstar's new project, "Red Dead Redemption 2" which is confirmed for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. On the other hand, Nintendo Switch will be available for purchase starting March 3 and is priced at $299 USD.
