Apple has stretched its latest "Shot on iPhone" marketing campaign with a new one titled "One Night on iPhone 7." The company is looking to highlight the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus' low-light camera competence.
iPhone 7's Low-Light Camera Capabilities
The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are equipped with one of the best cameras in a smartphone. Apple's latest flagships are loaded with optics that have an aperture of f/1.8.
This means that iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are capable of processing in 50 percent more light compared to the iPhone 6s. With this, the cameras can perform in extremely low light conditions.
According to Apple's latest marketing campaign, on the night of November 5, 2016 iPhone photographers traveled the globe, from Arctic ice caves and Indonesian volcanoes, to the clubs of Johannesburg and rooftops of Shanghai to test the phones' capabilities. Apple hired a group of photographers to extract life from dusk to dawn using the low-light camera on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus for their Shot on iPhone campaign.
The sights and scenes, as well as people they came across over the course of the night, resulted in a remarkable exhibition of nighttime photography. The result of their activities will be seen in 25 countries beginning January 31.
Wccftech notes that people use iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus to take more photos than any other camera in the world. That is an impressive feat, considering the latest trend in pocket-sized cameras in the market.
In addition, with iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus optical image stabilization, users do not have to worry about getting a blurry shot, at all. The photos, showcased by Apple in its latest campaign, are great testaments of the smartphones' camera power.
