"Naruto Shippuden" is nearing the end and the creator has a spin-off treat for the fans. Meanwhile, Naruto himself bursts to action in the latest gameplay trailer of "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road to Boruto."

In just a few short months, the anime world will be saddened when one of the medium's most popular series "Naruto Shippuden" ends. It is anime's longest-running Naruto series.

The show, however, will not mean the end for the Uzumaki clan. In fact, the franchise will live on in April when a Naruto spin-off hits televisions. According to Masashi Kishimoto, Naruto will be brought back to life in a highly anticipated spin-off anime that will feature a completely new cast of ninjas.

In a recent interview with Weekly Shonen Jump, Kishimoto was asked about his progress on "Boruto: The Next Generation" and how its tone will differ from "Naruto Shippuden." Kisimoto said he wanted the new anime to be a lighter matter that audiences of varying ages could engage in. He was quoted saying that as it went along, the ''Naruto Shippuden'' stop keeps getting more introspective and darker. He said that for Boruto, he wants it to be a bit more happy and fun. The spin-off will be something that the younger boys and girls can also enjoy.

For those who are not familiar with Boruto, he is the eldest child of Naruto Uzumaki and Hinata Hyuuga, and has become a star in Japan. Boruto was introduced at the end of Kishimoto's Naruto manga, and he recently received his own tie-in film along with his father. At present, Boruto is making his debut in games like "Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4."

Meanwhile, Bandai Namco released on January 30 a new gameplay trailer of "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4′s" upcoming DLC Road to Boruto. The latest video gives a glimpse of the DLC's gameplay, highlighting on Naruto himself, and his legendary fighting style, says Dualshockers.
