The Beta/Early Preview of the latest "Fallout: New Vegas called Traffic" mod is out now. With the mod, cars and trucks can now be seen passing through the ruined streets.

Modder Uhmatt recently, has introduced a Mad Max concept in the game with a mod for "Fallout: New Vegas called Traffic," which adds moving vehicles to the crumbling streets. In Mad Max, we learned that even in the post-apocalypse wake, survivors will always find a way to get few cars working again. With that "Fallout: New Vegas called Traffic," now you will see several cars and trucks grumbling along the splintered asphalt alongside the regular on-foot caravans.

The "Fallout: New Vegas called Traffic" mod is still in its preliminary stages, described by Uhmatt as a beta/early preview. As beta, "Fallout: New Vegas called Traffic" is still a little rough. At the moment, the mods have no NPCs behind the wheel.

With the mods, the vehicles are technically mechanical creatures heading preset routes. In addition, they have a little bit of trouble traveling the rougher parts of the road. There are times when these vehicles are stopping to navigate around to find a way over gaps and bumps. Despite these, the "Fallout: New Vegas called Traffic" is still pretty neat running along the streets, hearing the grumble of an engine and seeing a battered old pickup truck travel past, complete with animated wheels.

PCGamer notes that after the "Fallout: New Vegas called Traffic" was installed, it took a while for the first vehicle to show up. Within a few minutes, however, cars and trucks began rolling intermittently. It is not like there are huge traffic jams, but, typically, players would see one car at a time, or periodically two or three driving through the same main area. In addition, "Fallout: New Vegas called Traffic" fits in with New Vegas nicely. It gives players the feeling that a few citizens got an old jalopy running and are simply heading back to work or to the casino.

The latest "Fallout: New Vegas called Traffic" mod can be found at Nexus Mods. However, again, the mod is still on its beta preview.
