"Resident Evil 7" houses several powerful enemies that players will come across throughout the game. While some will find it easy, others have a hard time defeating them.
Take Mia, for instance, Ethan's wife. Their relationship is central to the plot of "Resident Evil 7," albeit dysfunctional. Mia is going to be the game's first boss fight and she makes a good introduction the game's combat system, ShackNews reveals. Players get to fight Mia twice in the game - one in the Guest House Study and another in the attic.
Study in the Guest House
The first boss battle with Mia in "Resident Evil 7" isn't exactly that difficult, and it will give players a good chance to get a grip of the game's melee combat system. Mia starts by throwing Ethan through a previously locked door into the Guest House Study. You will see a hatchet near where you land.
When Mia attacks, hold the guard button to deflect her attack then hold the aim button and press attack for a huge damage. As soon as Mia gets a hit, go back to defensive. It'll take around a minute or so to take Mia down.
Attic
Get a handgun and sufficient ammo to defeat Mia in this tricky attic fight. In this "Resident Evil 7" boss battle, Mia will be wielding a chainsaw, so make sure to keep your distance. As she bursts into the room, climb down the ladder to avoid getting knocked down. You can also hide behind objects to slow her down, as she destroys the objects in her path first before going after you. While this happening, keep firing direct shots.
Like in most Res games, the head is the weakest spot in "Resident Evil 7" as well. Make sure to aim for a headshot whenever you get the chance. Remember your ammo is limited, so see to it every shot counts. Distance is key, so stay away from the wife. After landing a few shots, Mia will go down.
"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is developed and published by Capcom, and is available for PS4, Xbox One and PC. For more info on the game, head over to the official RE7 website.
