"Final Fantasy XV" has been really popular even before the game was released. It featured Noctis as the main and only playable character with three other men joining him. However, it seemed like a female character in the game can permanently join the group -- but only through a glitch.
iDigtalTimes noted the steps on how to make Aranea join the group. Nonetheless, the glitch has a side effect: it gives up the character's ability to fish.
Through the detailed procedure, timing is important. It would be important to save the game before attempting to get Aranea so it will be easier to go back and try again.
Apparently, Noctis and the group should camp at Cotisse Haven first near Hammerhead. It's important to wait until midnight and to save the game; again, to make it easier to try the glitch again. Then, head north to the red fence wall and then wait for a Giant to spawn.
The next step is to get aggro on the Giant and Aranea will be on the way. Noctis should then leave the combat radius and get back to the rest point by bringing up the map. Apparently, the player should not wait for signs of Aranea or else, the glitch will not work.
Also, do not wait until Aranea's descent animation plays and instead, open up the camp menu before it does. At this point, Aranea should be a member of the party. Nonetheless, she will not if it took too long and the UI locks and the menu can't be opened.
Open the menu then confirm that her dropship is in there. It is then possible to now watch Aranea jumping down. Make sure to camp when she lands but before she leaves the party.
The next day, reload the auto-save from the camping and Aranea will be a permanent member of the party.
Sure enough, this little glitch is a great experience for "Final Fantasy XV" players. Apart from the new version that Square Enix dropped, it would be a merry holiday for the fans.
According to University Herald, version 1.3 is 3.2GB on both the consoles and has additional free features such as the New Game Plus mode and free accessories.
