It's no big news that "Final Fantasy XV" is getting a holiday DLC pack from Square Enix. But apart from the fact a new pack is coming, fans are rejoicing as it is totally free. Apart from that, Square Enix also shared the release date which is on Dec. 22 in Japan.
According to iTech Post, a "Holiday Pack+" will be available for fans who have the season pass. Nonetheless, there is also a free version but this will only be accessible for those who have downloaded the game on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Still, it's a great holiday present from the developers.
The pack contains new upgrades and content for fans. Siliconera noted that since the information are based on Japanese press release, a change in names may be possible once it's launched in English. But fans can expect that both the English and Japanese releases will have the same content.
The first thing is the New Game Plus mode. This allows the player to start the game from the beginning using a saved date of a completed game.
The main protagonist of "Final Fantasy XV" also gets new outfit accessories which can be equipped to Noctis. Sure enough, these accessories are useful for the game such as being able to lower stamina consumption.
In addition, the pack comes with a ticket that enables players to take part of a fun event that will happen in January 2017. The ticket can be used to the enter the Moogle Chocobo carnival event.
For those with the Season Pass, "Holiday Pack+" will include Social Media Photo Frames as reported by Siliconera. There are fun frames and a Christmas-themed one plus another that says "Final Fantasy XV." These are mainly useful whenever a player is taking in-game photos to share on their personal social media.
