A dedicated "Pokemon GO" fan and Youtuber has discovered the legendary Pokemon Mewtwo, Mew, Zapdos, Articuno, and Moltres in the game by checking its source code.
"Pokemon GO" players everywhere are trying to catch them all by searching "far and wide" for the pocket critters. However, Youtuber NesstendoYT tried looking somewhere else - deep inside the mobile game's code. His search led him to the discovery of the legendary Pokemon.
Officially, the legendary Pokemon (Mew is arguably either a mythical or a legendary Pokemon, but we will include it in the list) were not yet sighted in the game itself, except for the legendary birds in the logos for each teams: Mystic, Instinct, and Valor.
Mewtwo is also featured in one of the "Pokemon GO" trailers released before launch, and was the "boss Pokemon" during a huge timed free-for-all battle in Times Square.
Apart from the three legendary birds, and legendary Pokemon Mewtwo and Mew, the Youtuber also found Ditto hidden in the source code of "Pokemon GO."
As of this writing, no one has ever found a Ditto in the game yet. Judging from the source code, however, we might see the little creature soon.
Niantic Labs has yet to comment on this matter, but speculations have already gone around that the legendary Pokemon might be planned to come out in one of Niantic's special events.
Ingress players, or agents as they are called, have been participating in big team-based events for the game. It is said that the same kind of events are planned for the "Pokemon GO" community, and these events might feature the legendary Pokemon everybody's looking for.
Meanwhile, "Pokemon GO" has just been rolled out in Germany, much to the disappointment of ther rest of Europe, Canada and Asia.
The official "Pokemon GO" Twitter account announced recently that the app is ready to go in the country.
