The popular game app "Pokémon: Go," which is available on Android and iOS devices in select countries, has now caught the attention of known celebrities, proving that it can take over the world - and nobody's an exception.

Getting obsessed with the game is not surprising at all. The original "Pokémon" series in the '90s showed a proven formula and charm. The franchise spans from the original Gameboy to the latest 3DS and a number of spinoffs for other platforms like the Wii and PC.

Since its release last week, it is has gone viral as it can get. Celebrities are also taking a slice of the action in becoming the Pokémon trainer they always wanted to be when they were kids (or not).

For one, Joe Jonas is more than willing to tread with some extra terrestrials at Area 51 just to nab himself a MewTwo:

For John Mayer, getting as much PokéCoins is a no brainer.

Meanwhile, Wiz Khalifa shrugged off the surrounding news regarding the privacy issues with the game with a post on his social media account.

EDM icon, music producer, and DJ Steve Aoki also got into the "Pokémon: Go" action. A no-chill stride through Netherlands is not a big deal, even for a Weedle.

Kevin Jonas also made a potential meme of himself with a very relatable post on his Twitter about not finding any Pokémon after getting a notification that there's something outside.
