Some Pokémon GO still have the hangover for Simply Groundbreaking, but don't worry just yet. The fun is just getting started if you want to dance right away for the holiday event.
Here, not only amazing raids and bonuses await you. There are also new costumed Pokemon that will accompany your monster-catching dream.
Set to occur between Dec. 22 through Dec. 27, this special event is set to bring forth plenty of holiday cheer for every Pokémon GO trainer.
New Pokémon Debuts and Shiny Encounters
In addition to that, costumed Wooloo and Dubwool will debut during the holiday festivities along with the Shiny Cetoddle, GameRant reports. Costumed Wooloo will appear in the wild.
The players will be able to evolve costumed Wooloo into costumed Dubwool during the event. In one-star raids, players will get to catch the adorable Ice-type Pokémon from Paldea, Cetoddle, along with other exciting creatures.
Wooloo first appeared in Pokémon GO during the 2021 Pokémon Sword and Shield-themed event and now it is back with the holiday twist. For people who missed the previous shiny variants, this is your time to catch a shiny Cetoddle and add to your collection.

With these bonuses, you'll have even more opportunities to find rare and festive Pokémon during the event.
Niantic will also add new Field Research tasks, Collection Challenges, and Showcases, so watch out for in-game tasks for extra rewards. Timed Research will be available for $5, with exclusive items like a Wooloo jacket for your Trainer.

New avatar items will be available in the in-game store for those getting ready for the holidays. Festive Staryu and Marshtomp sweaters are great for the winter wardrobe of your Trainer. In addition, there will be two-holiday boxes in the web store containing useful items to complement your Pokémon GO experience during the event.
Wild Encounters and Incense Encounters
Throughout the event, various wild encounters will feature some familiar and holiday-themed Pokémon. Players can encounter Alolan Rattata, Galarian Zigzagoon, Blitzle, Vanillite, and more.
