The creators of "Pokemon GO" have decided to add new features to the game which are expected to bring more excitement among players across the globe.
These include, among others, the trading feature which was sorely missing when the game was rolled just a few days ago, according to Business Insider.
This piece of good news was revealed by no less John Hanke, CEO of Niantic Labs, the developer of "Pokemon GO."
"It's kind of a core element," Hanke told the business website in an interview, as he provided fans a glimpse of the new features of "Pokemon GO."
Although the Niantic CEO was careful not to divulge the specifics of the trading feature, he noted that it was in line with "Pokemon's" core virtues.
He pointed out that trading encourages players to interact with each other in both the real and gaming worlds.
Other new features of the augmented-reality game include additional ways to play with Pokestops and Gyms.
These two are crucial real-life landmarks which gives players the ability to restock on their items, gain experience, and battle each other for control of the "pocket monsters."
Although these landmarks come in the "most basic versions," Hanke explained that gamers will be able to "customize their functions in other ways."
Moreover, he disclosed that Niantic is planning to put in place a Global Leadership Scoreboard that will allow players to know their rankings.
In the meantime, iDigitalTimes has come up with its own list of new features which the developers of "Pokemon GO" might be willing to consider.
These include "Friend Battles" which will allow players to immediately settle the score without the need to fight in a gym, and a "Friends List," which would enable gamers to see their friends while walking around in their map.
The tech site also suggested the inclusion of "Tracking Items" that will allow players to locate a specific "Pokemon," and the addition of a "Push Notification" when a "Pokemon" is nearby.
With these new features, "Pokemon GO" is expected to capture the hearts and minds of more gamers around the world.
