The Google Nexus 6 is getting ready to hit U.S. carriers, so here's what T-Mobile, Sprint, and AT&T have planned for the handset.
The new-generation Nexus smartphone made in collaboration with Motorola is one of the most highly-anticipated devices of this year, but so far it has been rather elusive. Pre-order stock available at Google Play vanished in no time with each occasion, but carrier versions may be more readily available.
While previous Nexus devices came with good specifications and affordable price tags, the new Nexus 6 steps into premium territory with top-notch specs and features all around, as well as a price tag to match. Considering that the smartphone costs more than $600 unlocked (32GB model costs $649, 64GB model costs $699 on Google Play), many interested buyers are waiting for carrier offers so they can get the handset subsidized.
T-Mobile, Sprint, and AT&T have officially announced their plans for the Nexus 6, so here's what you need to know regarding the Nexus 6's pricing and availability on each of these carriers.
T-Mobile
The Uncarrier was originally supposed to launch the Google Nexus 6 on Nov. 12, but it ultimately pushed the date back one week to Nov. 19.
"To ensure the best customer experience possible, due to limited inventory and in-store demo units available at this time, the launch of the Nexus 6 has been moved to November 19. Customers can continue to pre-register to be the first to know when the Nexus 6 is available on November 19," T-Mobile explained in an Editor's Note to the original announcement.
Although the launch date has been modified, the pricing T-Mobile originally announced remains the same. The Uncarrier will offer the Nexus 6 for $0 down, followed by 24 equal monthly installments of $27.08 per month, under its Equipment Installment Plan. Sprint
Sprint announced that it will start selling the Nexus 6 this Friday, Nov. 14, in Sprint direct sales channels, including Sprint Stores, Sprint Business Sales, Web Sales, and Telesales at 1-800-SPRINT1.
The Sprint Nexus 6 will be available for $0 down (plus tax) and $29 per month for 24 months with Sprint Easy Pay. Unlocked, the Nexus 6 from Sprint will cost $696 (excluding taxes, service plan required). The carrier has yet to offer on-contract pricing details, but the Nexus 6 will likely cost $200 - $250 with a two-year service agreement.
"Nexus 6 sets the stage for exciting new developments in smartphones with a stunning 6-inch Quad HD display, perfect for movies, videos and surfing the Web," touted Doug Kaufman, director of Device Strategy at Sprint. "With pricing plans like the Sprint Family Share Pack, families can take advantage of all the features of Nexus 6 without worrying about expensive rate plans or running out of data each month."

AT&T
The Nexus 6 will be AT&T's first Nexus device, and is set to go up for pre-order this Wednesday, Nov. 12, both online and in AT&T retail stores. The device will ship by Nov. 18.
AT&T will offer the Midnight Blue Nexus 6 for $0 down and $22.77 per month for 24 months with AT&T Next 24, $28.46 per month with Next 18, or $34.15 per month with Next 12.
The AT&T Nexus 6 will also be available on-contract for $249.99, or with no annual commitment for $682.99. Moreover, new and existing AT&T customers who activate a new line of service on AT&T Next can also save $50 on the Moto 360, Moto Hint, or Moto Sliver II when purchasing the Nexus 6.
"The Nexus 6 with Android 5.0 Lollipop is the first Nexus device to join AT&T's leading device portfolio," said Jeff Bradley, senior vice president of Mobile Devices at AT&T. "The power of the nation's most reliable network, covering more than 300 million Americans, paired with the collective innovation from Google and Motorola make this device a winning combination for AT&T customers."

Verizon Nexus 6 MIA for now
Verizon Wireless has yet to reveal its plans for the Nexus 6, so no information is available in this regards at this point. Big Red is infamous for its delays, however, so it wouldn't be a great surprise if it launched the Nexus 6 notably later than its rivals.
