More information seems to bolster claims that the Motorola Nexus 6 may face some delays in the UK, as a new report pegs pre-orders for Nov. 18.

Google has officially taken the wraps off its new-generation Nexus devices, including the Nexus 6, back in mid-October, and many were expecting the devices to hit commercial availability shortly after their unveiling.

The Nexus 6 popped up on Google Play a few days later in the U.S., sporting a "coming soon" label at the time, and went up for pre-order in the country on Oct. 29, only to sell out in less than 24 hours. When it comes to the UK, however, Google made no mention of when the Nexus 6 will become available for pre-order, or when it will officially hit commercial availability.

Google has set up an information page for the Nexus 6 in the UK, revealing plenty of details regarding the upcoming smartphone powerhouse and touting its specs and features, but with no mention whatsoever regarding the release date in the country.

Not too long ago, Paul O'Brien of MoDaCo said that the Nexus 6 is facing some delays in the UK and will not hit the country before December, and a new report now suggests that it may go up for pre-order in the UK and Europe later this month, on Nov. 18.

As a reminder, the new Motorola Nexus 6 boasts a massive 5.96-inch display with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels at 493 pixels per inch (ppi), and packs a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor clocked at 2.7GHz under the hood. The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 2-megapixel front shooter, and comes with either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage capacity.

Google also touts the Nexus 6's Turbo Charger, based on Qi charging, which can juice up the device for 6 - 8 more hours of use with just a 15-minute rapid charge. The Nexus 6 is packed with top-notch specs and features all around and is expected to be in great demand, but it's still unconfirmed for now just when it will be officially available for retail in the UK.

The latest report about the Nexus 6 European and UK pre-order launch on Nov. 18 comes from Dutch site TechTastic, which claims that Google has delayed pre-orders from Nov. 3 to Nov. 18 in these markets.

Google made no official announcement regarding a Nexus 6 delay in these markets or others, but a few other hints point in this direction as well. After the formal Nexus 6 unveiling, for instance, an option allowed interested customers to sign up for email updates regarding the smartphone's availability in the UK, but that option has been pulled in the meantime. It remains to be seen just when the Nexus 6 will hit the UK, but we'll keep you up to date as soon as we hear more.
