One of the highly regarded features of Samsung Galaxy S8 is its display and it has been earning a lot of appreciation on reviews around the world. However, several customers from South Korea who pre-ordered the device encountered the red tint problem on its screen.

Android Central reported earlier this week that Samsung received complaints regarding a red tint, which disturbs the visual experience of the customers, and they immediately acknowledged this. The South Korean company tried to downplay the issue and mitigate the dissatisfied customers by releasing a statement that it can be fixed through adjusting the settings of the display.

However, despite lowering the red color in the settings, still, the red tint will not disappear. To further appease the users of Galaxy S8 with this kind of problem, Samsung is reportedly preparing to roll out a software update that most likely to be released next week. This update is expected to eliminate the red tint through improved color range and better optimization of colors.

According to the official statement from Samsung published by The Korean Herald thru NDTV, the company will release this update next week to Galaxy S8 clients due to some complaints they received from customers regarding the red-tinted screen, although the phone itself has no problem. It was reiterated by Samsung that there is no quality issue on Galaxy S8 and S8+. The company may be under some scrutiny with its latest flagships because it is not a secret that last year they encountered crisis due also to some complaints from cases of Note 7's reported battery explosions and now they are assuring the customers that they would address these kinds of issues.

In addition, there will be updates for color revisions probably by the end of April. There were some speculations after the red tint issue in Galaxy 8's display popped out, that this could be due to the deep red AMOLED in order to strengthen the red color on the display, says Trusted Reviews. Galaxy S8 users still have to wait if their dissatisfaction about the red tint will be resolved by the upcoming software update
