Samsung recently confirmed the release of two software updates for Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. This is the company's answer after receiving various complaints from customers regarding the red tint on the device's display.

The first update will provide users an enhanced ability to adjust the color setting according to their choice or to simply eliminate the red tint they see on the screen, according to WallStreet Journal. The second update will address the issue on some patchy Wi-Fi reception. It is expected that this problem will be fixed by an enhanced software.

Samsung has already started the over the counter sales of Galaxy S8 in the US and in its home market. Unfortunately, some South Korean customers complained that the screen of their device has reportedly exhibiting reddish hue. The images of their devices with red tints went viral over the internet. The tech giant iterated that this case was not due to a flawed hardware and that the problem can be corrected through some adjustments in the display settings of the phone, says The Sun.

However, more complaints from unsatisfied customers flooded the company, then Samsung announced the upcoming software update on Galaxy S8 and S8+. Users who had the chance to grab the device right after its release are hoping that through these software updates, they can maximize the use of phone's other features. The South Korean tech firm is releasing this early software updates for just recently launched Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S+ to avoid the shameful incident they have been last year, reported Phone Arena.

It can be recalled that the company was forced to recall the Galaxy Note 7 because of some rèported incidents of exploding batteries. This debacle cost the company billions of dollars profit lost ànd not only that, it also crumpled its worldwide credibility. After that untoward incident, S8 supposed launched was postponed and Samsung had to apologize to all the customers they failed to please.

Samsung is also in high hopes that the latest duo from its roof will compete with its direct rival, the Apple's iPhone. To claim the tarnished reputation of the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung is currently doing some preparations to make it as a refurbished phone or in other terms, a rental phone.
