The Samsung Gear S3 Classic LTE will be released soon. This latest news has been confirmed by the company itself in one of its press releases.
The Korean tech giant finally made the Samsung Gear S3 Classic LTE. This is the latest variant of the Gear S3 classic smartwatch. In 2016, when the company released the Gear S3 Classic and Gear S3 Frontier the plan was to offer 4G LTE Connectivity to the Frontier. However, it appears that there were changes made along the way as the company is now releasing the LTE variant for the Classic.
The Samsung Gear S3 Classic LTE is coming soon to AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. At present, none of the carriers have announced the pricing or the availability of the smartwatch. However, speculations are rife that it would probably launch alongside Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 plus.
There have been no major changes with the Samsung Gear S3 Classic LTE model aside from a slighter bigger battery and the integration of LTE. The latest model that sports the LTE has a 1.3-inch round AMOLED display. It has a resolution of 360 X 360 and PPIpi of approximately 278, says Android Headlines.
The smartwatch is run by a dual-core 1GHz processor. In addition it has 4GB of storage and 768MB of RAM. Furthermore, the device is powered by Tizen. Aside from those, the latest version can work with any Android smartphone running on 4.4 KitKat or higher.
This includes the devices from Huawei, HTC and LG. The smartwatch can also work alongside iOS device running on iOS 9.0 and higher like iPhones. For its battery, the Samsung Gear S3 Classic LTE have a 380mAh battery.
With the latest Samsung Gear S3 LTE and Gear S3 Frontier are so much alike in many ways, the real difference right now is the design. In their appearances, the Gear S3 Classic LTE appears to look the classic-timepiece type. The Gear S3 frontier on the other hand, appears to be designed tough and will go well for those who love adventures.
