"Halo Wars 2" is one game that apparently holds quite the hype, making it to the better part of the gamers' fancy. However, it seems to have failed at getting the gold, and only being declared second-best for the moment.

According to Eurogamer, the strategic masterpiece "Halo Wars 2" came next to Ubisoft's swordsman-oriented "For Honor" in the UK sales charts. Truth be told, the Ubisoft title even dropped sales of about 72 percent total, but still managed to do get on top. Such information does not mean the Creative Assembly and 343 title is a push over, given its reputation of being a widely known title to date.

Although no numbers were revealed by Chart-Track, "Halo Wars 2" can certainly stand its ground as the original did before-with "Halo Wars" debuting at number two during the ninth week of 2009. It was only beaten by "Killzone 2" for the PlayStation 3. While the turn of events may be slightly identical, it is worth noting that Guerilla Games is also releasing another title in the form of the post-apocalyptic role-playing game, "Horizon Zero Dawn," over eight years after the "Killzone" title.

The chart, as mentioned, is topped by "For Honor," then "Halo Wars 2," followed by "Grand Theft Auto 5", "FIFA 17" and "Sniper Elite 4" on the first five spots. The lower half of the chart comprises of "Battlefield 1," "Rocket League," "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," "Resident Evil 7" and lastly, "Forza Horizon 3."

"Halo Wars 2" was released February 17, 2017 under the efforts of 343 Industries, Blur Studio and Creative Assembly. The game sees the crew of the Spirit of Fire having undergone many years under cryogenic sleep, waking up by the Forerunner installation named the Ark. The cast includes the voice talents of Gideon Emery as Captain James Cutter, Nika Futterman as Alice-130, Courtney Tayloe as Serina and Darin De Paul as Shipmaster to name a few.
