"ARK: Survival Evolved" has some new content for the upcoming updates, more importantly for the version v255 on PC. The dinosaur-filled title has not failed to do its part in giving fans the prehistoric experience it was known for. Now, the new features will simply add spark to what it already has.

According to Express, the recent "ARK: Survival Evolved" update shows the addition of the Electrophorus dinosaur, along with prehistoric shellfish Ammonite, Microraptor and Thylacoleo respectively. While the creatures may be a point of focus, fans can also expect the Tek Shield Generator, Tek Tileset and Tek Doors, as well as four hairstyles and facial hair, as well.

The v255 update is meant to surface by February 24, while another update known as v256 will come at a much later March 29 release. In this content update, "ARK: Survival Evolved" will see the Aquatic and Amphibious Creature Breeding game system, with further details to follow it up. Creatures-wise, the game will have the horse Equus, the gigantic fish Leedsichthys, the flying Ichthyornis and fan-favorite herbivore Iguanodon.

Structures and mechanics that will come in the v256 update include the Tek Underwater Bases, as well as the TEK Teleporter and TEK Mosa Saddle, as well as the TEK Power Generator. A new TEK Cave is also promised for the coming version among others. Studio Wildcard could also deliver in the near future more creatures to be added, together with underwater dungeons, a feature known as "Boss Wars," "Ascension" Game Progression, weapons, structures and loads more to be named.

"ARK: Survival Evolved" has a spin-off game known as "ARK Park," a terrarium-oriented take on the wildlife that surrounds the wildlife of the franchise. It has been confirmed on being VR-compatible, namely the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Studio Wildcard's popular survival game was launched in June 2016, with many players immediately recognizing the concept and beauty of the prehistoric marvel.
