The Guardian Con 2017 event may be bigger than what "Destiny" fans will expect, with the recent details revealed by those involved. As the days draw nearer, the preparation may be slightly heavier, especially the tickets.
According to a recent post on Twitch, Professor Browman, King Gothalion and Kevin Murray revealed the latest information on the upcoming Guardian Con which will start on June 30. As far as the information goes, one of the more vital pieces include the ticketing, which fans should take note of. The attendees can appear on location with a ticket in paper or a mobile ticket which holds a picture of the barcode.
It is worth noting that the barcode is the most important part of the ticket-no barcode, no entry or admission. This will be scanned on the first day of Guardian Con, where a tangible pass will be provided. It was said that the VIP tickets were sold out immediately and over 750 people were given the opportunity. The ticket holders will be prioritized-given that the slots are limited, they will be bestowed theater seating accordingly.
The three theaters in Guardian Con will open their VIP lounge from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m, and both of the event dates will have food catering. The event will showcase a number of personalities, as well as popular teams, namely iAM, BombSquadKittens and Tier 1 to name a few. The Infoblast stated that the event will be more for charity than any other, with a tournament to present St. Jude with a $50,000 check. The team, in turn, will have ultimate bragging rights at the end of Guardian Con, a trophy and more.
So far, the St. Jude Childern's Research Hospital cause is looking good financially. A recent report from GameRant disclosed that the Destiny Community Con has come up with $500,000, with Gothalion, Broman and Murray wanting to go beyond-marking their aim at $1 million. More information from the event is expected to come forth in the succeeding days.
