"Halo Wars 2" is scheduled to officially release on February 21. However, there are those who can actually play the full game ahead of the scheduled date.

"Halo Wars 2" has the $80 Ultimate Edition and the $350 1 TB Xbox One S Halo Wars 2 bundle, which will be out February 17. Those who buy any of these offers can start playing the RTS sequel through Early Access right now. To top it all, what they have is the full version of the game and not just a limited section.

Game Features and Other Details

"Halo Wars 2" is available to Xbox One and for PC as an Xbox Play Anywhere title. This means that those who buy the game once through the store on an Xbox or Windows 10 device will see it appear on the game library with every sign in. The player gets a copy of the game on the other platform at no additional cost. Aside from that, achievements and saves can be easily moved between platforms.

With "Halo Wars 2," you can use a mouse and keyboard or a game controller preferably that of the Xbox One or Xbox 360. For players using an Xbox One controller, they will need either a USB cable to connect to the device or an Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows.

Meanwhile, Microsoft confirmed "Halo Wars 2" would not have a ranked competitive system during launch. According to Microsoft, the system parallel to that of "Halo 5" will come shortly after the launch. The company also said it is exploring the possibility of DLC maps.

"Halo Wars 2" physical PC edition release has been canceled for the United States. The PC edition is still available in Europe, says Gamespot.
