The latest "League of Legends" Blood Moon event brings a new map and new skins, among others. The event will be available to players on February 10 and will be packed with fast-paced murder action and loads of demons.
In the previous years, Blood Moon was just a line of champion skins that was released annually. Riot, this year, turned the "League of Legends" Blood Moon event into a vast experience with more than just skins. The Blood Moon event now includes exciting new features, including a new game mode, a themed Summoner's Rift and a healthy dose of angst.
New Game Mode: The Hunt of the Blood Moon
The "League of Legends" Blood Moon event brings a new mode called The Hunt of the Blood Moon. It is based on a spine-chilling version of Summoner's Rift, with players required to sacrifice demons, spirits and even each other to conciliate the Blood Moon.
Players will also get the chance to play assassins and high-damage dealing divers. In addition, all defensive items have been disabled, leaving only offensive items to foster maximum bloodshed. The new game mode will be available for play starting February 10 to 14 and again from February 17 to 21.
New Blood Moon Skins
The "League of Legends" Blood Moon event features new skins that come with their unique stories. The skins are designed to really nail the entire murder cult theme.
Jhin will have a Blood Moon skin. The blood calligrapher's masterpieces are as fine looking as they are dreadful. For him, each victim represents a new inkwell, and his canvas will be as broad as the ink will allow.
Dubbed the Blood Priestess, Diana got her Blood Moon Skin also. Scarlet rays from the night sky beam down on her victims, and the lunar assassin is never far behind. Her ceremonial slaughter is done rapidly, with her arcing blade sparkling in the dark moonlight. Twisted Fate and Talon also got new skins in the Blood Moon event, reports Dot Esports.
