Page Joseph Falkinburg, who is popularly known by his ring name Diamond Dallas Page (DDP), will finally be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2017 for his contribution both inside and outside of the four sided ring.
What makes the event even more special is that DDP will be inducted during WrestleMania 33 Week -- just two nights before "The Grandest Stage of Them All" unravels, to be precise, as RollingStone reports. As if that wasn't enough, the three-time WCW Heavyweight Champion has been included in "WWE 2K17," Hall of Fame showcase DLC.
The thing that surprised Diamond Dallas Page the most when he learned he was part of "WWE 2K17's" latest downloadable content was how 2K Sports flawlessly made him look so accurate, especially his hair in a matchup that took place nearly a couple of decades ago, he was speaking exclusively to GiveMeSport.
Everything from his hair, pads, body to his nose, DDP noted they (WWE 2K) got everything perfect. Watching his matchup with Bill Goldberg, he realized that's where the game developers got that hair from.
As far as his match highlighted in the "WWE 2K17" Hall of Fame showcase DLC is concerned, DDP deemed it as more than an opportunity for WWE fans to rewrite history, as it enabled him to review his doting memories of the match taking place against a team (The Fabulous Freebirds) he once managed even before his wrestling career kicked off.
The match pits DDP and Cactus Jack against The Fabulous Freebirds comprising Michael PS Hayes and Jimmy Garvin. Moreover, fans will also get a peek at footage from the match. This is without an iota of doubt, taking gameplay to the next level, DDP added.
The "WWE 2K17" Hall of Fame Showcase DLC is currently up for grabs featuring 10 new playable superstars, five brand spanking new arenas, nine new attires and battles between Ivory vs. Jacqueline, Sting vs. Ric Flair and Papa Shango vs. The Godfather. These are just three of the seven battles fans have access to in the game.
