"WWE 2K17" took the video gaming realm by storm when it hit the store shelves back in October last year. 2K Sports' professional wrestling video game emerged as one of the highest selling titles in the world. The game's roster comprised 136 Superstars with the game publisher later adding 11 more playable Superstars as downloadable content (DLC).

Despite bearing witness to the video game debuts of a slew of Superstars -- 26, to be precise, there were still quite a few wrestlers who were not present in the roster including the likes of Tajiri, Rich Swann, Brian Kendrick, and TJ Perkins to name a few. The aforesaid Superstars are expected to grace the roster in WWE 2K18.

In the intervening time, 'WWE 2K17" players can delve into the "Future Stars" DLC pack, which was released last month. The said downloadable content pack gives fans five new Superstars to play with in "WWE 2K17." The Future Stars pack bears a price tag of $8.99 and is currently up for grabs for PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360, according to a post on WWE.com. Here are the five Superstars who have just arrived in "WWE 2K17."

Austin Aries

Daniel Healy "Dan" Solwold Jr. a.k.a. Austin Aries is currently signed by the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc.). The American professional wrestler performs in NXT while serving as a commentator for WWE 205 Live at the same time.

Aries, who made his WWE debut in January, is no stranger to the video game. When performing in TNA, Aries lent his voice for the lead character known as Jacob Cass in the Road to WrestleMania mode of WWE '12 for quite a long time before he actually made his debut as a face in March.

NXT General Manager William Regal introduced Aries, who was later attacked by Baron Corbin. Aries got the perfect revenge when he defeated Corbin at NXT TakeOver: Dallas.

Tye Dillinger

Ronald William "Ronnie" Arneill a.k.a. Tye Dillinger is a Canadian professional wrestler currently signed to WWE and performs in NXT. This is not Dillinger's first experience working with WWE. He performed in the WWE between 2006 and 2008 with ring name, Gavin Spears.

He allegedly separated himself from WWE in Sept. 2013. Next, he made his televised NXT debut in what turned out to be a losing effort against Mojo Rawley. A couple of years ago, Dillinger made an appearance in a new gimmick dubbed, the "Perfect 10" in an episode of NXT.

Much to his relief, the new gimmick was quite well received. In fact, even 2K gave heed and included him in the already impressive roster of "WWE 2K17."

Mojo Rawley

Dean Andrew Muhtadi, who is better known by his ring name Mojo Rawley is currently signed to WWE and is part of the SmackDown brand. The former defensive lineman made his WWE NXT debut in Aug. 2012 and in May 2013 he finally made his televised debut as one of the Superstars in a battle royal that Bo Dallas shockingly won.

Rawley made his return to the four-sided ring in June 2015, forming an alliance with Zack Ryder. They called themselves, The Hype Bros. Rawley's success in the tag team matches along with Ryder grabbed 2K's attention and as a result, he was included in the game, according to SportsKeeda.

Luke Gallows

Luke Gallows, whose real name is Andrew "Drew" Hankinson is an American professional wrestler. He is currently signed under WWE RAW brand and is one-half of the WWE RAW Tag Team Champion. After signing a contract with WWE back in April 2005, Gallows was assigned the DSW (Deep South Wrestling) developmental territory.

However, Gallows ceased work with WWE and resorted to working on the independent circuit from 2010 to 2016. He was drafted to RAW in April 2016. Taking his impressive performances into consideration, 2K included him the game.

Karl Anderson

Chad Allegra a.k.a. Karl Anderson's story is quite similar to that of Luke Gallows. Teaming up with Gallow, he won the Raw Tag Team Championship in a rematch against "The Swiss Superman," Cesaro and his compeer Sheamus on the Royal Rumble pre-show. Anderson is the fifth player to be added in the Future Stars pack.
