"Pokemon Sun and Moon" added two highly anticipated online features. Now, it has a QR code creation and Friendly Online competition.

"Pokemon Sun and Moon" has finally infused the long overdue features to help make online play more interesting. Players can now create a QR code on the Pokemon Global Link webpage. This enables other players to rent their Pokemon teams temporarily. These teams can be used in the Battle Tree and in Friendly Online Competition.

Moreover, the Pokemon Company will track the amount of QR Rental Team used. It also comes with leaderboards on the Pokemon global link website.

In "Pokemon Sun and Moon," players can also create their own online competitions packed with custom sets of rules. These "Pokemon Sun and Moon" friendly competitions last for one day and will not begin until 20 or more players have already signed up.

These competitions use the Pokémon Global Link to make QR Codes to be distributed. It is also for trainers to sign up to public competitions created by other trainers from around the world.

This latest feature enables players to look for arbitrary competitions using the Pokemon Global Link website. Players can then scan a QR code to formally sign up in their "Pokemon Sun and Moon" games. In addition, "Pokemon Sun and Moon" has now an option to limit competition to local Live Competitions just like the current competitive tournaments.

These two latest online "Pokemon Sun and Moon" features both require access to Pokemon's Global Link webpage to be used. The QR codes generated from the Global Link website is synced to a specific Game ID. In addition, players will need to be registered on the Global Link site to use either of the latest features, reports WWE.
