After Marvel abandoned the "Inhumans" movie project, Vin Diesel is still pushing the studio for the movie. He has been frequently attached to the movie and obviously, he's not happy that Marvel shelved the project.

Vin Diesel previously said he thought Marvel studio had made a big mistake in deciding not to follow through with immortalizing Black Bolt and his "Inhumans" family for the big screen. "I don't think Marvel should abandon threir opportunity to make a film out of it," he claimed as reported by Screen Rant.

For Diesel, "Inhumans" would be a cool cinematic universe, and it's just wrong for Marvel to abandon their goals of making it into a film. He also said that if he had more time, he would go over to Marvel Studios and try to convince execs to push through with the project.

However, while it is still unsure if there will be an "Inhumans" movie, a TV show series is set to release soon. As reported by the Hollywood Reporter, Roel Reine has been confirmed as the director of the first two episodes. It was in November last year when Marvel announced that "Inhumans" was going to be a TV show instead of a movie, which was ordered straight-to-series for eight episodes by ABC.

"Inhumans" is initially scheduled for a 2019 premiere date before it was dropped by Marvel Studios in 2016. As Digital Spy cited, the movie has had a bit of a rocky relationship with the MCU. Anyhow, the superhuman gang will make their cinematic debut on Sept. 1, 2017 before heading to ABC on Sept. 26, 2017.
