Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is set to release a few months from now. Before the movie hits the theaters, one of the movie's actresses, Karen Gillan, shared some juicy information about the sequel in a recent interview.
"I think we might even feel a tinge of sympathy towards the character Nebula this time, because we really start to see the emotional crack in her character," Gillan said about the "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2." As reported by The Wrap, the actress also explained that her character's, Nebula, relationship with her father Thanos, played by Josh Brolin, could be the key for the fans to see how her character in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" differs from the first movie.
"What I love about the Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 movie for the character Nebula in particular is that we know that she's a pretty angry woman with some daddy issues. But in this second film, we're going to start to see how much pain her father Thanos actually caused to her, and we're going to delve right into the relationship with Gamora, her sister," she added.
Meanwhile, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" director James Gunn also revealed some more details about the film. He shared that the sequel will take place immediately after the events of the first movie. In "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2," Peter Quill will still be on the move after he double crossed the Ravagers with the Infinity Stone.
Gunn also compared "Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2" to the original movie released in 2014. He said the Vol. 1 is a space opera, while the second movie will be more of a science-fiction, according to NME. The movie will release worldwide on May 5, 2017.
