"Avengers: Infinity War" could be one of the most epic films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). To add on the fans' anticipation, reports are now claiming that a new superhero has been added to the "Infinity War" character list.

The Mantis, played by actress Pom Klementieff, is now confirmed to be part of the "Avengers" Infinity War" movie. Mantis will be making her debut in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2," which is scheduled to release in theaters on May 5, 2017.

Klementieff recently posted some photos on her Instagram revealing her involvement in the new Marvel superhero flick. According to Coming Soon, Klementieff has already started filming her scenese in Atlanta, Georgia. Some reports are still doubtful of the Mantis being in "Infinity War," but recent reports and photos of the actress wearing an Infinity War licensed headwear were enough proof for some.

Meanwhile, in a report cited by Bleeding Cool, former WWE star and "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor Dave Bautista claimed that he doesn't think "anybody who is a current character is not going to be in Infinity War." Fans will just have to wait for more updates about the upcoming MCU film and see which Marvel character will be part of the highly anticipated superhero movie.
