Despite the recent release of Vin Diesel's "xXx: Return of Xander Cage," the actor has already started teasing fans of the franchise that a fourth "xXx" movie could start filming soon. The latest entry in the "xXx" series will be released later in January.

Variety has revealed that according to the actor, the "xXx" franchise will allegedly start filming a fourth movie soon. Vin Diesel shared that Paramount has shown interest in continuing Xander Cage's story beyond the planned trilogy for the franchise.

The actor shared, "I was in the middle of an interview and Brad Grey - who runs Paramount - calls me and says, 'Will everybody come back to work in May?' I'm like - everyone's in interviews right now!" "xXx: Return of Xander Cage's" cast included Deepika Padukone as Serena Unger, Ruby Rose as Adele Wolff, Donnie Yen as Xiang, Nina Dobrev as Becky Clearidge, martial artist Tony Jaa as Talon, and Diesel as Xander Cage.

However, Paramount did not respond when Variety asked for a comment regarding the matter. At the London premiere of the third "xXx" film, the actors and actresses from countries across the globe traveled to the O2 Arena in style on a luxury yacht that cruised through the Thames. Diesel, on the other hand, boarded a helicopter to join the rest of the cast.

When asked about the diverse cast of "xXx: Return of Xander Cage," Diesel said, "I wanted to go out of the confines of Hollywood - go into foreign film markets - and pulled out their celebrated, respected heroes." As he introduced the film, Diesel shared, "Although we come from all over the world, when you see us together, you see harmony."

According to Cinema Blend, like Diesel's other film franchise "The Fast and the Furious," "xXx" could be "following the same path." Both franchises got their start thanks to Diesel, and he then let others take care of the rest of the films in the series. However, in both cases, the films in both series only gained traction in Hollywood upon the actor's return. "xXx: Return of Xander Cage," which was directed by D.J. Caruso, will hit theaters in America soon on Jan. 20.
