"Mean Girls" is one iconic movie that really made its trademark. In fact, this teen college movie is one of the most quoted films in recent past. Its lead star, Lindsay Lohan, finally revealed that a sequel is something she would have wanted to do. Only that, she wants the next episode of the movie to be called "Mean Moms" and wouldn't that be amazing?
"Mean Girls" sequel has been discussed for almost a decade now and fans of the film would seriously love the idea of a "Mean Girls 2" coming to fruition. The "Freaky Friday" actress finally agreed to it and when asked in a Q&A, she just said that she wants the reunion movie to come up very soon and Lindsay Lohan also said she is totally up for it!
In fact, the concept for the new "Mean Girls" movie was thought of by Lindsay Lohan herself. She said she would love to have a "Real Housewives" type of movie that will feature them as moms - thus, "Mean Moms" would be an appropriate title. The "Plastics" will then be called the "Moms." She suggested that all of them should have kids with her kids all coming from Africa after adopting them or whatever the writers' wild imaginations would take them.
As per Metro, revealing this really gave the fans confidence that the "Mean Girls" sequel is up in the air and might come soon. With the "Real Housewives" as peg, that would definitely be fun, interesting and people would be curious with the tons of drama it would be offering.
In her interview with MailOnline, the 30-year-old Lindsay Lohan said that "Mean Girls 2" would be awesome and she would love to do it. She also acknowledges the following it has and the fanbase of the movie is huge so doing wonders with that material for another time would be wonderful. Of course, this is an amazing idea - who would ever imagine Regina George as a mom?
This is not Lindsay Lohan's first attempt to push for a "Mean Girls 2." In fact, last year she already revealed she wants a 'Plastics' reunion soon. She said: "I have been trying endlessly for Mean Girls 2 to come true."
