Xbox One Project Scorpio has been getting more hype from Microsoft Executives. The company kicked off the year by declaring 2017 as the Year of the Scorpio.
Xbox One Project Scorpio has been given a lot of creative monikers. Developers had labeled it a monster, with the giant tech company backing the claim by confirming that it will deliver the best frame rates, the best resolution, without compromises. However, recently, the execs termed Xbox One Project Scorpio as the Beast.
An interesting tweet from Aaron Greenberg confirmed a couple of things: the company is exceedingly confident about Xbox One Project Scorpio, and that the scheduled release on Holiday of 2017 will be met. He further claimed that Project Scorpio would usher a new era of 4K gaming.
Microsoft Studios community manager Josh Stein, who declared 2017 to be the year of the Scorpio, echoed Greenberg's sentiments. Xbox chief Phil Spencer also shared the enthusiasm yet in a little more measured fashion, stating that although 2017 is going to be a good year for Xbox, he said he is still waiting to bring hype to the console until they are able to show games. The high-strung tweets had stimulated some fans to suggest that an official announcement on the release date of Xbox One Project Scorpio would be released soon.
Express reported that, recently, Xbox's Mike Ybarra gave an update on Xbox One Project Scorpio, informing fans that it was going well. Furthermore, he confirmed that the forthcoming Dolby Atmos functionality is established to be compatible with all third-party apps in the future.
The tech giant previously likened Xbox One Project Scorpio to a high-end PC worth thousands of dollars, leading some fans to speculate that it would cost higher than the average console. However, Microsoft lately dropped a big clue about Xbox One Project Scorpio price. Microsoft's Phil Spencer said that the company wants to compete with consoles and not PCs.
