"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" is one of the most talked about spinoffs these days. All anime fans are excited to have a Naruto-inspired show to come back in the silver screens. And this announcement will totally excite fans worldwide. The legacy lives on for Naruto and Naruto Shippuden addicts as the said series will start in just a few months!
"Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" producers have announced that the new anime was created at the 2017 Jump Festa held in Japan. There are still no other details revealed but the anime will still cover several contents of the manga, Boruto. According to Saiyan Island, the Boruto series will be aired by Japanese TV station, TV Tokyo.
The said station has already launched a website for "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" last Saturday, revealing key visuals, characters and promo video for the upcoming series that will be televised on April 2017. Crunchyroll had also streamed the same promotional video, translated to English, on their official Twitter account.
In the video promo, the anime stars featured were returning cast members Yuko Sanpei as Boruto Uzumaki, Ryuichi Kijima as Mitsuki, Junko Takeuchi as Naruto Uzumaki and Kokoro Kikuchi as Sarada Uchicha. Naruto and Boruto manga creator, Masashi Kishimoto, promised there is a lot to expect to the new series: "I am planning to make it a better, but different version of Naruto."
On the Weekly Shonen Jump last May 9, Ukyo Kodachi and Mikie Imoto released the Boruto manga, which is based on the creator's Naruto manga. Currently, Boruto manga second compilation was shipped in Japan last December 2 and have printed over a million copies.
In other news, the Jump Special Anime Festa 2017 surprised fans as they screened a Boruto-related anime showing in theaters across Japan later next year. A Naruto live-action movie will be produced by Lionsgate in Hollywood. It is set to be directed by Michael Gracey and Kishimoto is involved in the production of the movie.
