The "Road To Boruto" expansion has been announced a few months ago though the weekly Famitsu editions, which showed Sasuke battling Kinshiki. A few days later, Bamco finally confirmed that there will be a DLC revolving around the story of our favorite Konoha ninja's son, Boruto under his name.
The expansion will let players delve in deep into Boruto's storyline as it was in the anime as well as some new characters, both allies and foes. The DLC will also include a number of new Combination Secret Techniques that can be used on the standard game modes and more so, with the newly added story mode.
There's also an Endless mode to be added, though we're yet to see what exactly this mode will entail and what reward will be waiting unless fans get to play it next year.
